1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the ProPrep mobile application, website, and related services (together, the "Service"), operated by GoMedia ("ProPrep," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, downloading the app, starting a trial, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. If the law where you live requires consent from a parent or guardian, you may use the Service only with that consent. If you use ProPrep for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.
2. Not medical or professional advice
ProPrep is a general wellness and meal-planning tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, dietary, or other professional advice. Calorie, macro, ingredient, and portion estimates may be inaccurate. Recipes may not account for every allergen, interaction, or medical need.
Review all outputs before using them. Consult a qualified professional before changing your diet if you have an eating disorder, allergy, pregnancy, diabetes, kidney or heart condition, medication-related dietary restriction, or another health concern. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
3. Your account
You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding access to your account and device, and all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account.
You can delete your account in the Profile area of the app. Account deletion is permanent and may remove saved recipes, plans, lists, photos, and history. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription; manage that separately in your Apple subscription settings.
4. AI features and generated output
ProPrep uses automated systems to estimate nutrition, interpret photos, import recipes, and modify meals. AI-generated output can be incomplete, unsuitable, or incorrect, and similar output may be produced for other users. You are responsible for checking ingredients, quantities, cooking instructions, food safety, allergens, and nutrition values.
Do not submit sensitive information that is unnecessary for the feature you are using. We may limit or suspend an AI feature when needed for safety, reliability, provider availability, or legal compliance.
5. Subscriptions, trials, and billing
Some features require a paid auto-renewing subscription. The app will show the current price, billing period, trial terms, and included features before purchase. Prices may vary by country and may include applicable taxes.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID through the App Store.
- A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subject to Apple's rules.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
We may change subscription pricing or features with notice required by Apple or applicable law. A price change applies only as allowed by the store through which you subscribed.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of content you submit, such as photos, recipes, text, and links ("User Content"). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, limited license to host, copy, process, transmit, format, and display User Content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service and provide the features you request. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for temporary backups and legal retention.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit User Content. Importing content does not transfer copyright or other rights to you. Respect recipe creators, publishers, social platforms, privacy rights, and applicable terms.
7. Acceptable use
You may not:
- use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm another person;
- upload malware, illegal content, or content that infringes another person's rights;
- attempt to access another account, bypass limits, probe security, or interfere with the Service;
- scrape, resell, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission;
- reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- use automated output to make medical or other high-impact decisions about another person.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and original content, is owned by ProPrep or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.
Feedback is voluntary. If you send ideas or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment, while we remain free not to use them.
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties such as Apple, cloud hosts, AI providers, and websites from which you choose to import content. Their services and content are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for ProPrep.
10. Changes, availability, and termination
We may update, add, remove, or discontinue features. We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device.
You may stop using ProPrep at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or misuse the Service. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and quiet enjoyment. We do not guarantee specific health, fitness, or weight outcomes.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProPrep and its operators, affiliates, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities, arising from the Service.
Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid ProPrep during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) €50. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in the Netherlands will have jurisdiction, except that consumers may have the right to bring a claim in their country of residence and retain any mandatory protections under local law.
Before filing a formal claim, please email support@proprep.me so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
14. General terms
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and purchase terms shown at checkout form the entire agreement regarding the Service.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated as required by law, and the updated date will appear above. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
